ACDC - Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control

Hazardous chemicals are regularly found in the agriculture sector, this is where most hazardous chemicals will be found. Successful farming requires the sound  management of crops and/or livestock, the farm property, people and finances. Hazardous chemicals are used to help rid the farm property, crops and livestock from any pests or diseases.

The ACDC Course will provide you with highly relevant information; not only necessary to obtain an (ACDC) ground distribution operators licence, but also to provide students with a good grounding in the safest practices for handling & distribution of agricultural chemicals

  • Depending on your existing skills and knowledge, the ACDC Course can take 3 days to complete. 
  • To complete the online components of this course, learners will require a smart phone.
  • Target: Farmers, farmhands, farm supervisors and other people who use agricultural and/or veterinary chemicals regularly in their work.
  • Duration: Self paced, online & face-to-face practical- average time taken is 3 days
  • Qualification: Statement of Attainment.
  • Documentation: Proof of Identity.


The ACDC Course(Refresher) is available online Australia-wide. The ACDC Course (Full Course) includes a practical face-to-face class at Civil Safety.

Civil Safety is required to determine the support needs of individual learners prior to enrolling in to a course. If there are limitations to the support we are able to provide, these limitations will be made clear in information we provided to potential learners who complete a LLN test but do not sucesssfully complete the LLN assessment.

The first step in the enrolment process is to click or tap on the LLN Indicator link below. You will be taken to the Civil Safety online LLN test.  If you complete your LLN test you will automatically be redirected to our enrolment form. If you do not pass the LLN test, a trainer will contact you shortly to assist you.

When enrolling in a nationally recoginised course, you are required to provide a  USI  (Unique Student Identifier) number. If you do not already have a USI you can create one at From 1st January 2015, no certificates are able to be printed if a person does not have a USI.

We also require proof of your identity so please have your drivers licence or another form of photo id available for upload in to the enrolment form.

At the completion of your enrolment form you will be taken to PayPal checkout to pay for your course. You will need an active credit card or PayPal account to pay for your course.

The email address and phone number that you supply on the enrolment form must be active as this is where we will send payment confirmation and your logon details for your course.

Once you have fully completed your enrolment form and  have successfully made payment to PayPal you will automatically receive your login password via email so that you can start your studies immediately. Issuance of your results are conditional on Civil Safety validating your LLN, enrolment form and your submitted assessments as complying with the regulatory Standards of ASQA.
