Online Blended Courses

Due to the continuing threat and spread of the Coronavirus, Civil Safety Management has announced that from Monday 23, March in-classroom instruction will be temporarily suspended. In-classroom instruction options will be available for corporate and private training and assessment.

Blended online instruction is now being offered for the duration of the Coranavirus pandemic. Candidates will receive their courseware, resources and assessment documents via direct download, email or by Australia Post.

Candidates will be fully supported by the training and assessment team through podcasts, direct phone links, email and live Skype/Google Hangouts chat.

Practical evidence will be collected using on-site assessors (using the minimum Social Distancing recommendation – see below), onsite video assessments and isolated observation assessments. A comprehensive suite of online evidence collection tools have been developed by our in-house resource team to collect portfolio, third-party, live video, audio and photographice evidence as part of our blended online assessment approach.

Our staff have undergone a vigiorus training process to ensure that we continue to offer a meaningful and engaging pathway through your studies, whilst meeting community expectations of good corporate governance.

Social Distancing Recommendation

Staying at least two metres away from other people lessens the chances of catching COVID-19.
Other examples of social distancing that allow you to avoid larger crowds or crowded spaces are:
Working from home instead of at the office
Closing educational institutions or switching to online classes
Visiting loved ones by electronic devices instead of in person
Cancelling or postponing conferences and large meetings or using skype/Google Hangouts instead
