Licence to operate a forklift truck
This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Competence in this unit, does not in itself result in a HRWL licence to operate this plant.

This unit requires a person operating a forklift truck to:

Legislative and regulatory requirements are applicable to this unit of competency.
This unit is based on the licensing requirements of Part 4.5 of the Model Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations and meets Commonwealth, State and Territory HRWL requirements.
The National Assessment Instrument (NAI) is the mandated assessment for the HRWL to operate the relevant licencing class as detailed in this unit.
ENROL NOW - 2 EASY STEPS
Civil Safety is required to determine the support needs of individual learners prior to enrolling in to a course. If there are limitations to the support we are able to provide, these limitations will be made clear in information we provided to potential learners who complete a LLN test but do not sucesssfully complete the LLN assessment.
If you have previously done a nationally recognised level three unit of competency (e.g.Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, S11, etc.) you do not need to complete the LLN Test (you can go to directly to Step Two – Enrolment).
When enrolling in a nationally recoginised course, you are required to provide a USI (Unique Student Identifier) number. If you do not already have a USI you can create one at www.usi.gov.au. From 1st January 2015, no certificates are able to be printed if a person does not have a USI.
We also require proof of your identity so please have your drivers licence or another form of photo id available for upload in to the enrolment form.
The email address and phone number that you supply on the enrolment form must be active as this is where we will send your logon details for your course.
If you enrol using a purchase order number you are required to enter the Purchase Order Number in to the enrolment form. Please make sure you have the PO number handy at the time of your enrolment. Your PO number is case sensitive (upper and lower case).
