MSMWHS217 - Gas test atmospheres
This refresher course provides individuals who have previously completed the equivalent course, with the ability to refresh their knowledge and skills 100% online.
The refresher course is designed to meet industry standards requiring that the skills and knowledge required to: test the working atmosphere, use electronic test apparatus, determine it is safe to perform the proposed work is current and valid.
As this course is 100% online, you can work through the course content and refresh your knowledge self paced, at anytime!
This unit of competency refreshes the skills and knowledge required to test the working atmosphere, using electronic test apparatus, to find out if it is safe for the proposed work.
It applies to situations where an individual may be required to carry out gas testing of an atmosphere prior to entering a specific area or workspace. The competency requires the person to interpret readings and take actions based on the interpretation.
