Rig Ready Course

Our Rig Ready course provides the participant to become Rig Ready for work in the drilling industry of the mining and civil sectors. Our online pre-course learning and assessment mode allows you to study the underpinning knowledge at home prior to attending a Civil Safety High Risk Training Facility for an intensive practical  face-to-face workshop. This can reduce the time required by you to attend classes by up to 3 days. The Rig  Ready course is targeted at new comers, people re-entering the industry or current employees seeking to move in to the  drilling industry.

The Civil Safety Rig Ready course (theory component) can be done 100% anywhere – Anytime. All learning material is provided in a downloadable format (PDF) so that you can study and refresh your knowledge. When you are ready, just log back on and download your MS Word document version of your pre-course theory test and complete it online.

Our Rig Ready course can take up to 8 days to complete.

Online study and assessment 5 days.

Practical workshop 3 days.

This is only an indicator as someone with prior experience or exposure to the industry can complete in less time, while new comers with no experience or exposure to the industry may take longer.

ENROL NOW - 3 EASY STEPS

Civil Safety is required to determine the support needs of individual learners prior to enrolling in to a course. If there are limitations to the support we are able to provide, these limitations will be made clear in information we provided to potential learners who complete a LLN test but do not sucesssfully complete the LLN assessment.

The first step in the enrolment process is to click or tap on the LLN Indicator link below. You will be taken to the Civil Safety online LLN test.  If you complete your LLN test you will automatically be redirected to our enrolment form. If you do not pass the LLN test, a trainer will contact you shortly to assist you.

When enrolling in a nationally recoginised course, you are required to provide a  USI  (Unique Student Identifier) number. If you do not already have a USI you can create one at www.usi.gov.au. From 1st January 2015, no certificates are able to be printed if a person does not have a USI.

We also require proof of your identity so please have your drivers licence or another form of photo id available for upload in to the enrolment form.

At the completion of your enrolment form you will be taken to PayPal checkout to pay for your course. You will need an active credit card or PayPal account to pay for your course.

The email address and phone number that you supply on the enrolment form must be active as this is where we will send payment confirmation and your logon details for your course.

Once you have fully completed your enrolment form and  have successfully made payment to PayPal you will automatically receive your login password via email so that you can start your studies immediately. Issuance of your results are conditional on Civil Safety validating your LLN, enrolment form and your assessments as complying with the regulatory Standards of ASQA.
