Learning Resources & Refresher Assessment

The refresher course is designed to  ensure that the participant’s skills and knowledge required to work in confined spaces is current and sufficient

The refresher course is

appropriate for those working in operational roles undertaking work in confined spaces, or they have been working in operational roles where they are required to work in confined spaces within the previous 12 months.

The refresher course is not suitable for participants who have not previously gained formal recognition in the RIIWHS202D – Enter and work in confined spaces unit of competency (or it’s predecessor ).

The course addresses the theory component of  entering and working in confined spaces. The refresher course does not give you the practical skills required to Enter and work in confined spaces. This course delivers the theory component of RIIWHS202D – Enter and work in confined spaces and will provide you with current information about:

  1. Planning and preparing for working in confined spaces
  2. Working in confined space
  3. Exiting confined spaces

The activities that appear throughout the course learning guide and the questions are part of your assessment. They must be successfully completed to complete the course.

THE REFRESHER COURSE IS ONLY TO BE USED FOR REFRESHER PURPOSES IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY ACHIEVED A STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT in RIIWHS202D

Goodline Confined Spaces Refresher

Your assessment must be completed in one sitting. If you close your assessment prior to completion you will have to start again. You cannot pick up from where you left off.

If you complete your assessment successfully you will receive a copy of your results by email. If you do not complete your assessment successfully you will then need to complete a ‘SECOND ATTEMPT’  at your assessment.

Your second attempt document is located in the resources folder of your e-assessment or you can download the SECOND  ATTEMPT using the link below. 

It is important that you email your SECOND  ATTEMPT to the correct email address so that your assessment attempt can be matched and verified as complete.
